Broccoli Fritters


This recipe is SUPER easy and cheap to make. No excuses on healthy eating having a hefty price tag here! I’m a huge fan of broccoli so I’m always over moon at this time of year when I see my vegbox arrive with lots of this super powered green stuff. These fritters are also a great way of using up broccoli that’s on the turn.

I love grabbing these fritters straight out of the fridge as a healthy snack. Or enjoy them my favourite way –  as part of a big mezze feast!




400g   Broccoli

1          Onion

2          Garlic Cloves

5 tbsp Chickpea flour

½ tsp  Cayenne

½ tsp  Cumin

Salt and Pepper


  1. Cut the broccoli into chunks and whizz up in the processor with the onion and garlic. Add the other ingredients and whizz up some more until it starts binding together.
  2. Using your hands make patties and then shallow fry.

Avocado dip

2          Avocados (make sure they’re ripe)

1          Garlic clove

A little bit of plant milk

Salt and pepper


  1. Whizz all up in the processer until smooth.
